Dock to dock

Warehouse to warehouse, DC to store, plant to plant. Your freight loads at one dock and unloads at the next, on a 26 ft box truck built for one to 12 pallets.

Tracked dock to dock

The right truck when

  • Both ends have a loading dock.
  • The load is one to 12 pallets, so a 53 ft trailer would run mostly empty.
  • Freight moves between your own sites, your suppliers or your customers.
  • You want one carrier you can call, not a load board.

How it runs

  1. Send the details

Pickup, delivery, pallet count and weight. Every load is quoted before pickup.

  2. We back in at your dock

Freight is secured with E-track and straps before the truck pulls out.

  3. Tracked to the next dock

ELD and GPS on every truck, check calls along the way and photos at delivery.

Questions

How much fits on one truck?

Up to 12 standard 48 x 40 pallets, two deep in six rows, or about 10,000 lb. Send the dimensions if you're not sure and we'll tell you before you book.

Is my freight ever handed to another carrier?

No. We never re-broker. Every load runs on an EK truck.

What insurance do you carry?

$1M auto liability and $100K cargo through Progressive Commercial. We can send a certificate naming you as holder within the hour.

Can you work around our dock hours?

Yes. Dispatch works 24/7, seven days a week, so pickups and deliveries can be set for the hours your docks are open.
